Is It possible For A Human To Surgically Exchange Brains With A Animal?

Update:

YES I DO WATCH to much tv hahahaha

but i was just wonder how cool it would be to be like a wolf or a bird or something

Update 2:

@Prometheus this is what i was thinking of because for example even if the procedure worked out your brain would not know how to function another organisms heart, lungs, mussles ect.

but what if one where to give the body the recources like oxygen, blood, water, ect. until the brain adapted to the new body? then in might work

Many of the essential autonomic functions are handled outside the brain. For the sake of argument, let's assume we could do such an exchange between humans. We could solve the problems of organ rejection, life support during transition/adaptation, and so on.

Brain size is generally proportional to body size, so just to handle body functions, you'd want a brain at least half the size of ours. But if you want something close to human intelligence, it would need a respectfully high encephalization quotient. A dolphin would be better for intelligence, but a chimp would be a better match for body functions. Any memories would be those of the original owner of the brain. It would take a long time for new connections to form between the nerves and the brain, and for the brain to adapt to the new connections.

The best you could hope for would be a chimp in a human's body.

Tghis a matter where we should consider form and function... Even if it were possible it wouldnt work since the brain and the mind are not adapted to operate a different kind of body !!

No the brain is extremely sensitive just lightly touching the brain can really mess a person up.
