    Not biologically.

    but some wise ancient roman philosophist said "Sleep is the little brother of death."

    which is partly why, even if I am mainly agnostic, if I´d have to say what death is like, I´d say it is really similiar to sleep.

    Also, think back before you were born. try to remember it, that time. doesnt it remind you of sleep?

    Your brain is still active in sleep.
