This is my first computer build and I am using the new 4th gen CPU for it. I want to see if I picked good parts. I am also on a budget and need to lower the prices.

-Should I downgrade to the 3rd gen Intel processors to save some money? If i do that will I still be able to play Battlefield, Minecraft, Skyrim etc.?

-Is an aftermarket heatsink fan really necessary?

- On the PCPartPicker webpage it says estimated wattage is 303w. Does that mean I can downgrade on my PSU? Doing those things would help me with the money situation.

I am a sophomore in high school exploring which career paths i may want to pursue. What would i have to do in order to become a pharmacist? I have decent grades...and my father is a physician im kind of undecided. Any advice? Maybe other exciting jobs in the medical field?

I would start Stafford, but sometimes he does crap and then he explodes, Dalton is a consistent 15-25 pts.

Jamaal Charles has been REALLY disappointing as of late and it doesnt look any easier. Do you think that this is a good trade and what are the chances that he will accept it?

Basically, computer science seems really interesting to me, and it keeps on growing. Is it a competitive/difficult field? I want to find out how develop programs and assemble computers. Eventually i want to make myself a computer and learn about the different parts of it.

P.S.: Is it more expensive to buy a computer from the market, or buy parts and make it yourself?

First off, I am a sophomore in high school. Everybody says that it is important to get into a good college, but does it really make that much of a difference going to Baylor or Rice rather than UTSA or some community college? (all texas colleges) In the end, everyone is going to be in the same workforce and nobody will really know what college you went to. Sure it is more respected and prestigious that someone went to an Ivy League college that had fancier stuff and expensive tuition, but in the end does it really matter that much in the normal working world? For example if I want to become an engineer of some sort is it necessary to do it to get a bigger salary or something? It is just so stressful having everyone saying you NEED to get in a good college and i am kind of questioning that because people who do not go to the best colleges still turn out successful, like my parents.

Currently i have an HP pavillion g6 and it cannot play games, it lags and crashes often

I'm getting the out of memory thing where I haven't allocated enough memory so can I use a USB stick for the memory. Also I have a cracked version if that makes a difference.

I have a crappy flip phone that I have had for 5 years. It has soo much problems from battery lasting one when I'm not even using it to not receiving calls. She knows this and when I ask her she says ok but we never go to the Verizon store. Half the time she says every smartphone is too expensive but we definately arent poor. Plus she has an iPhone 4s along with my dad. How is that fair? Im 16 now and have never had a smartphone. If Im gonna get a phone it would be the Samsung galaxy s3, but how do I convince her?

I want to play Minecraft on far render distance but right now my computer can only handle short. When i Put it on normal, it lags a little and with far it lags alot and occasionally crashes. I have a HP Pavilion G6 Laptop with i3 intel core. Would i need to play on a more powerful computer for this or if i can then what do i need to do?

i play espn fantasy basketball and i dont really wanna keep the teams. i wanna start new ones so does it stay?
