Pharmacists are required to have a PharmD, or doctorate of Pharmacy degree.

You can start a four-year pharmacy program after successfully completing two years of undergraduate coursework and earning a passing score on the PCAT (Pharmacy college admission test).

Courses in pharmacy and pre-pharmacy include chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, and physiology.

The median salary is $111k per year, not too bad.

You mentioned other jobs in the medical field -- there are over a dozen that might interest you, so I included a full list that discusses the primary fields published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

    I hope that helps!
