Several Christians tried to compare the Trinity to one individual being a father, son and husband all at the same time while still being only one person. Apparently they are unaware that the view they are espousing is actually a Heresy called Sabellism! In the Christian religion you are NOT allowed to equate the Father and the Son (or the Father and the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Spirit and the Son). The Father is NOT the Son, the Son is NOT the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is NOT the Father, according to orthodox Christian belief. If they were all the same individual, then how could the Son pray to the Father (He would be praying to HIMSELF) or how could the Holy Spirit descend on the Son in the form of a dove? The Bible clearly distinguishes between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For instance, Jesus tells the Twelve that after He leaves, He will send a Comforter - the Holy Spirit. Well, if Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same guy, why does Jesus speak of the Holy Spirit as a different individual? Why not say "I'm leaving but I'll be back soon"? Jesus also says "The Father is greater than I"! Can Jesus be greater than Himself?!? Jesus also says that of the day of His return nobody knows the time or hour "nor the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." If Jesus and the Father are the same guy, can Jesus know something and NOT know something at the SAME TIME?!? None of it makes sense UNLESS you assume that there are three individuals - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - and that they are each individually a god (or at least claim to be such!)

The answer;; God is One.not three people. He is One Substance, not three substances. His "personableness" is manifested in the Divine Nature of Jesus and in the Holy Spirit, but these are not separated from the Godhead. The Humanity of Jesus is associated with God in every way that any other Human Being can be, but with the extra that Jesus was born without taint of the Sins of our forefather Adam. Your question relates to the doctrine of the Trinity and there is no-one on Earth who can overcome the fact that we are dealing with a Mystery. If in studying a ray of light through a stained glass window, three colors can be seen aren;t they all from the one ray of light and have no existence without that ray of light; the ray of light and the colors are intrinsically woven together; when the light is there so are the colors, when the light is gone so are the colors.

Perhaps, a poor example but it serves me and so I am sharing it but knowing that it cannot say all that there is to sy about a mystery of God.

They are three in one, like a three leaf clover. One in the same, but separate.

Being an actual Christian means you love God, (despite some people who claim to be Christians) and if you love him you follow his commands. If you just go on sinning like you were before, then there wasn't a change of heart and you have not actually been saved.

Because basically what you think are three separate gods Christians view as three aspects of one god. Religions that have many aspects of the same deity are monotheistic, and there have been many of them through history.

It's not. Angels are supernatural beings that would be considered minor gods, as well. Christians are deluded, as are all religions.

    That's the Trinity..3 in one.

    They're not separate entities..

    Think of it this way..

A father is someone's son..and could also be a husband.

    so..father, son, husband..3 in one.

    cuz 3 are 1.

    its like an egg

    1-shell

    2-yolk

    3-white

3 separate beings but 1 GOD.

It never was due to the sole fact that they warn about the devil who was supposedly cast out of heaven as he took a twelfth of the stars with him.
