Trying to straighten out a problem?

I had accidentally picked an option on my traffic infraction which was disposed of. The option was to Forfeit a Driver's defense course. I called traffic Division and they tell me to send a letter to Clerk Of The Courts in FT Lauderdale. They never got the letter because i was given a wrong address. I sent another letter and now they have no record I had sent that one either. Not only that,but I called another number and it was Finance. The lady told me that they should have told me to contact Finance. I just emailed broward clerk this morning and they told me they have no such record of any letter. Then they further went on to say if you wish you can send another letter to North sSatellite Courthousei n Deerfield Beach. I don't think these people are organised well. The lady at traffic said continue the defense course and call back Friday for an update. What would you suggest i do..sick and tired of chasing shadows,pardon my expression
