I've had a headache for 4 days now. It gets worse when I stand up and walk?
I've tried taking 2 extra strength Tylenols for the pain but it does nothing. It feels awful, and it's even worse when I stand up and walk. What could be the problem?

knowing your other "condition", it could be a blood clot ? maybe?
i hope not. but............it might be some of your normal medication, that you may be taking on a daily basis.
most drugs, do have "side effects". have you changed your medication, lately? maybe thats it.
..........and,...........it maybe be simply that you have caught a 'cold virus'. or a flu virus. since this is the season.
usually, before i get all of the cold symptoms, i get a : headache.
and then the other symptoms.
.................well, since it could be almost anything, i'd go and see a good and trustworthy doctor, if i were you. perferably, one who is a woman. and do tell your doc, about your "blood condition".
ALSO: it could simply be a "worry" and or "stress" headache.
i've had those, for days, when i was worried about something.

Any head ache that may be light to modest, not combined with some other signs or symptoms, and does respond with home cures within a few hours probably won't have to have additional examination or screening, especially if it has took place in the past. A stress head pain uncovers absolutely no unusual discoveries using a neurological assessment. Nonetheless, tender points in the muscles are often observed in the neck and shoulder areas. The doctor should be consulted, to eliminate some other issues that can induce pain, if ever the head ache is without a doubt considerable, prolonged i.e. is unable to disappear completely), or if some other signs and symptoms exist along with the headache. Severe headaches that will interrupt sleep, show up when active, or which have been recurrent might need evaluation and even treatment by a doctor.

If it was migraine you would have other symptoms like wavering lights or an intolerance to light as well as feeling sick.If you are a worrier and have any problems at the moment then your headache could well be caused by tension, but even so, it would be worthwhile seeing your G.P. You really don,t have to put up with bad headaches.Good luck,Pink.
