How to find criminal court transcripts in New York?
I just found out my boyfriend has a criminal record. He says it was all a stupid misunderstanding, but I would like to read the actual transcripts from the trial.
Where do I find that? How do I find out what court he was even tried in? I have no information other than it was a felony conviction in New York State.

You have to know which county it was tried in. Once you know go to the court house and ask for the transcript for his name and date, you will need to know the date as files are stored in chronological order. If he will not tell you where it was then he is hiding something and you would do well to dump him.
