The only foods you should be limiting pre natal is excessive amounts of fish that is high in mercury. Post natal you are safe to eat (and should eat) anything your body craves. You should not limit any foods unless you are breastfeeding AND you baby has a reaction that you believe is caused by a food that you are eating. In that case its usually caused by dairy or nuts. Most babies are fine with any food that you eat. If eating spicy foods really affected babies negatively, why would there be so many babies in mexico?
