if norton anti virus expired and i restore my computer to factory settings will it still be expired?

well i restored my computer to  factory settings because i had viruses , before restoring my norton anti virus that came with my hp computer had expired and would always tell me to buy another plan or whatever
now that i  restored my computer it isnt sayin its expired, is it possible that since i restored i got a new subscription?

You had Norton AND you had viruses at the same time???
You need better protection.
Avast Anti-virus(Freeware Edition) notifies you of a virus attack, and automatically sends the virus to quarantine, BEFORE it infects your computer.
Dump Norton it failed to protect your computer.

No. But it could have set the countdown back to how many days were left when your computer created the save point. That or the next time it connects to the update server it will notice it has expired.

yes still expired - norton have already thought of that, but uninstall norton and install either avira or avast or comodo all better than norton and all totally free

Yes you have to buy a new anti virus system, I    usually go to walmart
