Should Prisoners be allowed to vote?

    No, I don't believe so. Voting is a civil right not a human right. In a civilized society criminals have human rights, which I support. However I don't believe they should have civil rights like being able to vote. I don't like the idea of a convicted criminal deciding who the country is run by.

    Why not? They are an immaterial group anyway.

    I believe that getting unemployment down is more important than prisoners votes.

    Nobody really cares (except the Daily Mail that is).

    Nope...they gave up the right to vote when they committed a crime which got them sent to prison. If they want to live outside the laws of the land then they forfeit the right to the advantages and responsibilities of a civilised citizen...

    No. I dont think there are any thing in favour.People should never go to prison.At 67 I have never been to prison.

    Yes! they are allowed to vote regardless if they are notorious criminal

    No, they forfeit this right when they were convicted of their crime. However, it is a states rights issue, and the laws vary from state to state.
