Making JVC HR-XVC26U Region Free?
Trying to find step by step Instructions to convert a JVC Model HR-XVC26U Combination VHS/DVD Player's DVD to Region Free. I've looked on a couple sites including dvdexploder.com but have not been able to find anything on this model. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Most US models are not able to play region free its a little more complicated than just deleting some software file out...US DVD's play a 480i signal while Pal DVD's have a 576i out put also the way they do color rendition is different and not compatible, the refresh rate is different also..this is not to Mention the SECAM system which is also different, so its not just a matter of taking the region code out you also have other issues to contend with....
