"We have to think about three games in seven days for Rio, but in this situation I'm sure he'll want to play on Saturday [when United are at home to Wolves].

"His form over the last few weeks has been very good and it probably isn't a problem for him, playing against Wolves.

"But we have to consider the fact he's 33 now and had injury issues over the last two or three years, particularly with his back.

"We just have to measure it closely in terms of how he feels and how he's looking."

I've seen every one of Evans' 100 games since he broke through from the academy thank you very much.

Evans has talent as proved from the first 50 or so games.

The last 40 or so have not fulfilled the initial promise he showed...give the lad a break..he's just going through a bad spell. He will be back.

He's been made the scapegoat for the demolition derby when in reality it was Evra and Ferdi-crock who were really poor...Ferdinand must go. Now.

Evans will prove you wrong . Mark my words.

Most people, as Fergie said, would have said the same about Giggs, Scholes etc when they broke through. Same would have been said about Fletcher, O Shea , Brown when they broke through. It always happens with academy talent.

Fergie is not one of those fair weather fools who support a player when he's great then call him names based on ONE bad spell.

The people who are calling for Evans' head now were the same fools who asked Rooney (our only world class player atm) to be sold when he was having a bad spell.

They are those Chicharito ( uncreative poacher ) loving disloyal disgraces who dont understand the sentiments of watching a lad break through from the academy. They are the 'glory hunting' Man United fans who know eff all about the United way.
