Dharma question: Is life the expression of ignorance or the expression of enlightenment?

That depends upon which side of the wall you are

I am not familiar with Dharma, and was curious what the answers were. When I opened the question all I saw was answers hidden because of low ratings. What is going on here?

Human curiosity always transcends from bigger things to finer things. Hence life begins with expression of ignorance which trascends to expression of enlightenment. Gender,Religion,Cast,Rich and Poor are the traits of disciplined social animals who know only to exist in the earth by praying GOD in fear and killing themselves in the name of GOD but the real Human being knows how to live by realizing GOD in Love, Affection and Sharing their wonerful life energy.

Evolution continues till these social animals turn into fearless enlightened Human Being.

Both. If we imitate or made us to imitate ignorance, our life will express the same. On the other hand if we are taught and imitate enlightenment so we will enlighten others. It does not depend upon any religion. All religions have teachings of enlightenment but those who impart teachings are not all Buddha or Mahavira, or Krishna. We need to understand the inherent theme in those religious books under the able guidance of a Guru/teacher and then our life will be expression of enlightenment.

and the same becomes expression of enlightenment at the highest level.

Neither. Ignorance is a human expression of denial. Enlightenment is a human expression of a higher form of wisdom and understanding. Life, on the other hand, is a simultaneous expression of everything single that can exist and can happen, as well as an expression of everything that makes everything happen and exist (like natural conditions).
