Do i need 1/2 in or 9/16 pedals?

My mountain bike has a SR Suntour XCT V2, 28/38/48 crank set. I am not sure if I need 1/2 or 9/16 pedals.

Update:

I am assuming this is a three piece. But how do I know for sure?

    One piece cranks use 1/2" pedals the rest use 9/16".

    3- piece cranks use 9/16; 1- piece use 1/2 inch.
