no, you shouldn't warm up a bike by idling it ever. The engine never really gets fully warmed when you just idle the bike. Motorcycles really need air flowing over the radiator (water cooled) or the engine (air cooled) to operate properly. You don't get proper air flow unless you are moving.
Fuel injected bikes do NOT need to be warmed up before riding them. Doing so just wastes gas. Give them a few seconds in warm weather and maybe up to a minute in cold weather before riding off. Ride them gently until the gauge is up to operating temperature (usually about 5 minutes).

No, like it states, you need a varying load to break-in properly. (Which is why they state don't just ride the highway.)
