What are some exercises I can do to teach myself how to act?
My parents can't afford to put me in acting classes. I'm going to take Musical Theater but how do I make myself a better actress by myself? Some people are good actors but I'm not. Are there any exercises I can do at home to help? Do I need an agent to audition for movies? Do I have to start off with just being extras in a movie? Is it easier to get an acting career if you live closer to Hollywood (I live in Tulare, California)?

Let me tell you one thing as a Dad and as an Ex-bodyguard Don't ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever Put on the internet the REAL place you live there are really.... really... bad people in the world who will track you down and do BAD.............. things to you and you just gave them all the info they-ed ever need to get you in a car/room with them alone
( next time just say north Ca, or center ca, or south Ca, ) stay safe on the net i no it seems like people can't touch you but they can so plz be-careful i'd hate to hear about a 14 girl who wanted to be an actress that was found dead along the side of the road. or was found dead in a texas brothel along with 5 other girls who had been forced into slavery on the CBS news

Off course there are a ton of exercises you can do to increase your acting talent! Read "The Intent to Live" by Larry Moss it has a bunch in it! And research at your local library there are bound to be improv and acting exercise books!
