Do I have influence in the community?
In Yahoo Answers if I mark it as Spam do they instantly believe me and remove it from everybody's view? How come I don't have Top Contributor badge; my answers are consistently beautiful, helpful, and brilliant! (I'm not very complete or accurate sometimes). One time I was in a disagreement and marked someone abusive because she called me a creep, which may have been a somewhat valid point of view, but also I was partly right, and it has been a long time ago, so I should be forgiven by now I hope! Also, I want to be more famous! Thank you!

Nobody knows what anybody's "influence" or "trust level" is on the site except staff - and they are not telling. If you report both consistently and correctly, you raise your trust level; if you report only sporadically or get overturned on appeal, your trust level drops.
As to the TC badge, your answers must not only be "consistently beautiful, helpful, and brilliant", but they must be mostly in a SINGLE category (or up to 3) and they must be chosen as Best Answers about 10% - 12% of the time in that category.

According to Y!A : "A "Top Contributor" is a member of the Yahoo Answers community who has shown that they are knowledgeable in a certain category. Each user can be a top contributor in a maximum three categories. You earn it or lose it depending on your recent participation in a certain section. The more positively you contribute, the more chance there is that you will get a TC badge. Just like featured users or category leaders, it's another way to give credit to community members."
Y!A has never said what the precise requirements are. It's commonly accepted that you need to answer a lot of questions (50?, 100?, who knows...) in a category and get Best Answers on a certain percent of them (probably 10-15%) each week.
You can have TC badges in up to 3 categories at a time. There is no TC badge for the Jokes & Riddles and Polls & Surveys categories.
TC badges are based on your recent activity, not your level or total points, how long you've been here or your overall BA %.
