Limited Pay pal account? What to do next?
Hello everyone. I'm going to upfront and honest about the paypal issue I have. I created the account when I was 17 (still am - 18 in 4 months time) not fully realising that you had to be 18 to have a paypal. I was using paypal on my phone and laptop and ebay limited my account because it saw this as suspicious activity.
Obviously I cannot verify my age as I am underage (and I would never scan a copy of my passport anyway, even if I weren't! Which is what pa ypal want me to do . . . ) and I cannot close my account as it is limited. I understand that signing up underage was wrong and this could always have happened, I take full responsibility for my actions.
My question is this. Will pa ypal ever close my account? I do not like the idea of them having my card details and would like to use pa ypal in the future when I am legally old enough (and obviously cannot do this while they have my card details). Will there come a point that they close it if I do not use it or reply to their "we haven't heard from you" emails?
Thank you in advance.

At some point (if you owe Paypal any money) they will send in debt collectors-so pay it as soon as possible.
If you show them proof of your age they will close your account (underage) This MAY be for good.
If you ignore their request you will be unable to use your Paypal anyway, so I would possible ask them to close your account (trying not to give any reason) and eventually demanding they allow you access to withdraw any money (after any debts to them have been subtracted)
I am unsure if you can re-register when you are 18, but wait till then and appeal if you are able or get a new card when you are 18 and try using that to open a new account
