how do i deltree my laptop n re-install my OS?
i have a toshiba laptop (satellite a100/a105 series). i've tried to reinstall the os with the out-of-box settings, twice, and its said after it was done installing, "<ERROR: F3FC000001 CRC check NG.>
i know that if i do a deltree EVERYTHING, including the CD drive will be gone.. so how do i save my CD drive so that i can reinstall the os?

if you use the recovery disc, to do a FULL RECOVERY,back to factory, just let the program do a FULL FORMAT and it will reinstall the OS back to factory,or even if you use the recovery manger to recover it,let it do a full format/recovery.if the recovery program asks to delete everything then reinstall to factory do it.you will not loss the cd drive,the program will completely format the HD then reinstall your OS. back to factory.
