Is it normal to start your period when you stop taking your birth control pills?
Like a week or two afterwards, plus i stopped in the middle of the cycle.
FMI. I'am using other protective methods.
I was on the Tri cycle. btw.

When you begin your contraceptive pill for the first few cycles you may find that you do have some intermenstrual bleeding (IMB) however this should resolve.
If your compliance is poor ie. missing pills or being more than 12 late taking it then you can find that you will bleed. Its not a period, but a hormone withdrawal bleed.
The best advice is take it on time. Set your mobile phone alarm to remind you its "pill time" Great to see that you are being very sensible in using other protective methods also.
