    1.) y=2x-10

    2.) y=-(1/2)x-9

    y = 2x is parallel to y = 2x + 9 (same slope = 2)

    y = -x/2 is perpendicular to y = 2x + 9 ( slope is negative reciprocal of 2, = -1/2)

    1) y=2x-8

    ....same slope

    2) y=(-1/2)x-9

    ....opposite reciprocal slope
