I accepted a position with another company and now my current employer has counter offered.?

I haven't received in writing, the counter offer. They verbally offered me a raise and a promotion. I gave my notice on thursday of last week, they countered thursday evening, I had a meeting with the director on friday and he said that I'd have the offer by monday. It's wednesday and I still haven't received the offer. Should i be nervous? Should I accept the offer? I'm leaning towards staying if the offer is good...

I would call them up, they said they would have the offer to you by monday. If it's a good deal and you like it then I would stay, but if you want to move on to something new go with the new company. It's all up to you.

what's occurred to you extremely by danger is a concern some human beings contrive (a stable convincing bluff, in different words). seems such as you're after undertaking extra advantageous than money. you be responsive to what you have now. A static or loss of existence industry, an inert subculture, broken supplies... you're wearing extremely some costly information approximately your contemporary place, and your employers be responsive to it. they are going to pay to maintain you, yet won't impulsively help your dynamic new ideas. Take of project, or ask your self 'what if'. additionally, 7 years is a protracted time to stay in one place - shows a loss of ambition and inflexibility. Time to go on.
