Massive amounts of methane gas has been seeping through large holes in artic ice. How bad is this?

Will the deniers deny this is happening, or will they say it doesn't matter?

Potentially very bad. The methane sequestered in artic regions was released due to climate change several million years ago. It caused a temperature spike that lasted for several decades -- far worse than current global warming projections due to CO2.

Half o fthe live on Earth was wiped out.

Although methane is shorter lived it is a much more intense greenhouse gas thus having a loop effect. This is similar to the effect of open water absorbing heat from the sun instead of reflecting it as ice would.

Large amounts of methane gas seeps put your *** every day. Nothing to get excited about.

Same thing happens in swamps. Guess we should cover them in asphalt to stop it.
