brandon bass is pretty much like glen davis except he's more athletic the davis and he's also a better shooter than he is. because of how davis body is built the celtics was worried that his body would break down meaning he could be injury prone and health is a huge concern for this team. with bass you don't have to worry about that.

i heard they were concerned about his weight especially since the lockout caused shorter training camps this year. it would give him less time to get back in shape. brandon bass is a good pick up though. he has same style as davis, but with a more lean body. i'm actually more surprised that the magic accepted the trade.
