Why wouldnt it be? A technical vulnerability means it is vulnerable in that area. Wouldnt u want to mitigate weaknesses or risks?

Organizational informations are very important and they don't want to loss these information like a bank they don't let others to find vulnerabilities and exploit them that is why organizations spend a lot of money to manage vulnerabilities.
