How does it make sense giving Tax Cuts to billionaires and millionaires instead of people with less money?

Shouldn't it go the more money you have, the more money you pay? Not the less money you have, the taxes go higher? Exactly how does it work keeping billionaires and millionaires rich?

I agree with you-makes perfect sense

I love living in a big city that taxes the hell out of downtown shoppers to fund our new professional sports stadiums, where the players make more in one game than I will in my entire life

The theory is that millionaires and billionaires tend to be the sort of entrepreneurial people who "think big and act big," which is how they got their money.

If they are able to keep more of their money, they are inclined to invest it in things that make them more money...which means they invest it in businesses and enterprises that will employ more people, stimulate the economy and raise everyone's standard of living.

Poor people on the other hand are poor because they lack "big picture" motivation. Give them more money and at best they spend it on modest expenditures that basically perpetuate the status quo, without creating any new wealth. And at worse they spend it on things like booze and drugs.

That's the theory. It's not totally wrong, but it's not totally right either.

Because the millionaires and billionaires are the ones who own the politicians.

It doesn't make sense. Let's just hope the occupy movement makes a difference. I'm sick of dirty rich capitalists trying to influence the whole world and everyone in it. We are the 99% :))

Because if they don't give those tax cuts to those major investors, they will leave (bail) the country for an other one that gives them better tax cuts. I know it sounds stupid... But its like that...

And apparently we need those mutli billionaires to invest in our country...
