old Magnavox TV, can't find AV ports?

I have an old Magnavox TV from 1992, model # RS1965 B222 and cannot find the AV ports (the red, yellow, and white ones that I would need to plug in my almost as old Xbox). Am I just not looking in the right place, or does this TV not have such ports? I found the place to plug in a co-ax cable, like for cable television, but nothing else that looked very port like.

I would RTFM, but I tried to find a owner's manual on-line with no luck either.

TVs didn't used to have AV inputs. I'm not surprosed. You could buy a modulator:

but maybe you should just get a new TV.

Note the modulator converts your composite video and audio (yellow, Red and white RCA) to RF (Cable/antenna coax) so you may also want an antenna switch (and a short cable)

This CONVERTER BOX that you talk about....it has the RCA Video Jacks, the RF in and the RF OUT on it?? Perhaps it's powered by a 9 or 12 Volt supply too ? It's an RF modulator ! That's all you need to connect your PS2 DIRECTLY to the TV set without the VCR even being involved with it.... Who watches VHS tapes anyways...Mine have been sitting on the shelf for the last 5 years.

By the sounds of it, you've plugged it in right. You need to perform an Auto Channel Scan on your TV to tune in the frequency the PS2 is outputting on... Probably channel 0 or 1
