PCP Phencyclidine hydrochloride?
I have not heard of any one getting busted for the use, sale, trafficking or manufacturing of PCP in years.
I'm asking if you or your Dept, has had any experiences in the last few years.
Is it still sold on the street?
There was one death in a Florida Jail this year, but that all I could find.

It is absolutely still out there... had a male stoned out of his gourd on PCP, standing naked in another persons residence, just last Tuesday. The only odd thing about this particular case is that this man was not violent at all. Every one of then I've dealt with before has been very combative... and you can't hurt them!
As for sales... I don't know of anyone in the general area that has been arrested for distribution of PCP in many years. But the mopes are getting it somewhere!

As with any drug that comes and goes in popularity....PCP has been around for decades.
Many people remember LSD being popular in the 60's until the problems with a bad "trip" started going around. LSD lost popularity until a new generation of drugs users came about.
The generation of young drug users don't remember what occurred before the were born and hear about a "new drug" when it's actually not.
PCP has made a small comeback but, in my opinion, will lose its' appeal once people realize it's not such a good thing.

every now and then we would catch someone with pcp.it was not a drug that people seemed to flock to.if someone died in jail he sneaked it in some how.it is a very dangerous drug but not one commonly used.
