Not at all! A bit of unconventionality isn't a bad thing. We don't exactly live in the '50s anymore! Break away from what everyone else is doing if you want. There are no rules to live by but your own. The rules society imposes on people are plain stupid. There's never only one way to do anything even if the majority are following each other like blind sheep.

no, it's not weird at all. times are changing, where traditions come and go. no longer are majority women housewives and no longer do we have slavery/segregation. it's the 21st century (last time I checked), where anything goes.

if you think it's weird for women to propose, you should also accept men should have to pay for everything (all dates, the bills, etc) and make your future wife quit her job and be a housewife.
