I don't think that you should be doing that conversation over a phone at all. Think about it first. How much does your friend mean to you? If she is your "best" friend. It may be possible that it will cause tension in your friendship. Is the guy really worth it.

What happens if the guy ends up not liking either one of you in return?

I say be the bigger person and see what happens with your friend and this guy first. Let time settle between the situation and then IF he ends up being worth it talk to your friend about it then.

i've been where you are at.. and you should tell her that you like him and also say that ur ganna put ur own part into being with him and she should too and let the best girl win. but dont let it get that get in the way of ur friendship and if she is not okay with that then thats not a true friend ... u just gatta be the bigger person

Do NOT tell her over a text. I had thesame problem like two days ago! Mee and my BESSSTfriend liked the same guy. But I was the guys BEST female friend and he told my friend that he liked me, so I had to tell her before my other friends did! She REALLY liked him..and she was pissed when I told her.. But it's better if YOU tell her that you like him, instead of her hearing about it.

just calmly walk up to her, grab her firmly by the hair and start punching that ***** in the face! shes a worthless friend if she likes the same guy as you. soooo you nead to beat the breaks off that ***** and let her know whos meat that is. if not she will prolly look you in the eyes and smile the rest ov your lives, secretly knowing shes already stole your man!

That's a tough situation. Just be like I think I kinda like so and so too. Whatever you do, don't keep it a secret, things will end bad because she will find out eventually
