Could the sun set your hair on fire ?
I mean, you sometimes have that with forest fires, its just because some bushes are very dry, and its very hot, the bushes catch fire and theres a big forest fire.
Could the same thing happen to human hair, say you would be sunning in a very hot place, near the equator, the sun is very hot, your hair is very dry, your not lying in the shadow.
No mirror or something is used. Could human hair catch fire the same way dry bushes do ?

It's a possibility, my friend bleached her hair and did wash it off very well apparently and her hair caught on fire because she tried to blow dry it. Triple damaged.

If you had a magnifying class to it, yes. Hold on. I'll post this in the Mythbusters forum.
the equator isn't that hot! You'd have to go to Death Valley, or the Sahara.

this might be possible if you have flammable liquid or possibly hairspray. it would have to be a really hot day with a heat index of over 100. and you would have to stay in the sun for hours. but its entirely possible, but it depends on whats on your hair and how flammable it is
