How far off can a yahoo expert be on this Bowl Season?
I was browsing the NCAA post of yahoo experts and one in particular said the SEC has the most to prove during bowl season! DA! where is the logic in that 2 teams playing for the NC, and 7 other teams going into this Bowl Season, Do you think the teams playing against SEC teams have more to prove if the country thinks that the SEC is overrated? He kind of Don't make sense. Who do you think has something to prove in this bowl season which conference?

People are calling the SEC overrated. Not many, but enough. If the SEC goes 2-5 going into the national championship game, it kind of makes the championship game bogus. (Based on teh SEC strength of schedule). So in that sense, I agree with the reporter. If you are going to say the two best teams in the country are in the SEC, then you better back it up with the rest of the SEC winning to prove how tough their schedule was. Personally, I don't see it. Not counting playing LSU or Bama, 3 teams went undefeated in the SEC, and a 4th only lost 1 game, by three points. That same team lost by double digits to Boise State, in their home state. If the SEC is soooo tough top to bottom(which some years they are, just not this year) how do 3 teams go virtually undefeated in the conference, and 4th come 3 points away. Also, you can throw in that Auburn did well enough in the SEC to stay ranked, even though they almost lost to two division 1aa schools. Utah State was winning with what, 2 minutes left to play?
