How do I remove Windows Vista after I have downloaded Windows 7?

If you ONLY downloaded W 7, leave Vista alone.

It's only when you TRY to install your illegally PIRATED copy of W 7 that things will go terribly wrong.

no Marvin is wrong..there is a way to remove vista,

insert windows 7 DVD and there is an option to format dist in advanced option.

When you install Windows 7 it will automatically remove your current OS (Vista) as part of the installation.

I am sure when you downloaded windows 7 that Microsoft told you how to install it.

Who would you rather listen to? Microsoft, the company who made windows 7 - or some yokel on yahoo?

copy the win7 on a cd or pendrive and restart ur computer with either the cd in the rom or the pendrive in the usb slot. Upon restart, go to boot menu and select the drive used. which is pendrive or cd. After dat jst folow d instructions on ur screen.
