My new guinea pigs won't move...?

I brought two new guinea pigs home last night and they won't move at all. They were moving before I brought them home and were actually quite active. After arriving at home they both sat completely still when myself and my wife held them and they remained motionless when put into their new home. In fact I am pretty sure that they did not move from where I placed them last night, before I went to bed! Is this normal behavior when in new surroundings? Maybe they are they just "frightened" of their new surroundings? I don't know what to think but they have sat in the same exact place for hours!

They are probably just afraid of being in a new place, but are not panicking like they were when you first got them.

I think your guinea pigs won't move because they must be afraid of their new home.
