I like this girl and was about to ask her out but I need some advice?

I like this girl, was going to ask her out soon but I overheard her talking and she said she had a boyfriend, but was going to break up with him. What should I do????? Thanks!

    Ok so what you really want to do is to befriend her best friend. Trust me, this can be a total lifesaver bro. You bring up a conversation with her best friend and be like. So I heard _____ has a boyfriend. ( only not as abruptly) Find a way to politely say it in a way that fits the conversation. If she has a boyfriend then wait, if she doesn't then gooooooooo for it!
