One of mine is to boil up a lot and drain and finally chop whilst still hot and fold into mashed potatoes and divide into portions to freeze.

    Coleslaw is an option.

    Bubble and Squeak is another.

    Stir fries.

    3 1/2 pounds chopped cabbage

    1 cup uncooked white rice

    1 teaspoon salt

2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large skillet, brown beef in oil over medium high heat until redness is gone. Drain off fat.

In a large mixing bowl combine the onion, tomato sauce, cabbage, rice and salt. Add meat and mix all together. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour broth over meat mixture and bake in the preheated oven, covered, for 1 hour. Stir, replace cover and bake for another 30 minutes.

I am a Chinese and this recipe is superb and scrumptious.

Luckily I managed to find this on the net on how to prepare it:-

    http://www.noobcook.com/chinese-cabbage-soup/

You will need: pork ribs, 1.5 liters of water, 1 corn on the cob, cut to large chunks

2 carrots, peeled and cut to chunks, 3 dried scallops, 200g cabbage, torn or sliced to smaller pieces, salt

Steps: 1. Blanch pork ribs in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. Take out the pork ribs, rinse in cold water and set aside.

    2. In a soup pot, add blanched pork ribs, carrots, dried scallops, corn, 1.5 litres of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes.

    3. Add cabbage and boil for 10-15 minutes till cabbage leaves are soft and translucent. Season with salt if needed.

Eat it raw, wrapped in lettuce leaves.

Saute it in oil for a few minutes, add some worchestershire sauce, thai fish sauce, garlic and poppy seeds. Saute for a minute more and it's ready.
