Can I use any AT&T samsung captivate with a GoPhone plan?
AT&T has the samsung captivate phone for both their contract plans and their GoPhone plans. I am looking to buy this phone on Ebay, but none of them say they are for the GoPhone plans. Can I buy and use a regular Samsung Captivate phone and use it with a GoPhone plan or do I need to buy a GoPhone specific device?

Actually you may have problems when you us non AT&T phones for Gophones specially in data. Their billing system will not recognize the device you are usin so accessing internet will not be guaranteed. Having no internet access, you will also not be able to send or receive Pic Messages. I highly advise that you get an AT&T phone, it doesnt matter if it is 2nd hand as long as it is an AT&T phone. Samsung captivate works for Gophone. And since it is an Android phone, you will need a data package for that to work for internet. Only Iphone, Blackberry, and 4g devices has data restrictions. You will not be able to access internet at all using these devices. But you can still use them for calling and texting. Now for Smartphones, they can access internet but you will not have Unlimited Internet for them.
