does any one else get annoyed by people who whistle to your dog while you are walking them?

They're idiots. People think they know more than they do.

I've not had this happen either but quite often people will ask if they can pet him to which I say yes unless it's a child. He does not get along with children and it took a year of working with him so men could pet him. They are absolutely idiots. Ask them if they would like some bird seed.

Well i don't have a dog yet but i did walk dogs over the summer and YES it w=can be really annoying just keep walking dont let your dog stop moving

I've never had this happen but I have had people come over and pet my dog without asking. I tell them that I'm not paying for stitches when they get bitten by my Tibetan Mastiff who is reserved with strangers.

Very few people whistle at my dogs. The ones that do, my dogs ignore. They don't approach strangers, unless I say it's OK to say HI.

my dogs are never off lead and under my control

if people want to talk to them they have to come to me otherwise they pay no attention

\have to ask the people who do it. maybe they think dogs are loose and going to catch.
