Click on your connection icon. Disconnect if it says it's reconnected. Then reconnect and see if that works.
Check your computer -- laptop? -- to make sure your wi-fi is turned on. There should be a little unpretentious (hard to find) switch somewhere on the bottom or sides that will turn the wi-fi on and off. That could get bumped while carrying, moving, etc.
Try refreshing your pages. Check your router, internet connection, etc. Try turning the router off, leave for 15 minutes or so, then turn it back on and let it re-set. Still doesn't work?
Take the computer to a cafe where they offer wi-fi and see if you can connect there. Still doesn't work?
It could be your wireless card (not sure that's what it's called). I'd take it to a shop and see if they think you need to try replacing that. Otherwise, they may have some suggestions for you.
Hope this helps!
Edit: Oh yes . . . if you have another browser installed, you might try using that as well.

Also, if it's still not working, go into your "control panel" and then go to "Internet connection" then follow prompt after clicking, "Internet connection" or if you have a *WiFi " check / click ON " WIFI" CONNECT. It may take you into WIFI connection and it should run a programming check on its own or automatically. But always read the entire page of information b4 leaving and going back to Internet connection because there are several reasons your connection can show " inoperativ"
Also, you may have "sharing you Internet connection" with others, click prompt then click "enter".
