How can I find a wolf in Minecraft?
I need a wolf really bad. I have creative mode on but it's an online server. I read that wolfs still spawn in creative so that shouldn't be an issue, and I have any supplies to make anything that will help spawn some wolves. I seriously need a wolf though. Any advice I can get will be greatly appreciated :)

Once you have acquired bones to tame a Wolf you can set out to find one. Wolves spawn in light, so searching during the daytime may help. An alternate method could be to place a torch in the dark and wait until night, however it is important to keep your distance from the torch as they will not spawn in your immediate vicinity. Wolves are also more likely to spawn in Pine tree forest biomes.
Once you have located a Wolf, right click on the Wolf while holding bones in your hand, and once the required amount of bones have been used, heart particles will float around the Wolf and its skin will change to an alternate version with a red collar.

Wolves usually spawn on grass, in Forest and Taiga biomes. Make sure you have a couple of bones, because if you're not lucky enough, it will take a couple of bones to tame the wolf. Right-click the wolf to tame him, you can figure out if you tame him by seeing little hearts floating around him for a few seconds.
