i will be getting blackberry torch 9810 with data plan when i upgrade in feb. i dont have a smartphone now. i have samsung strive with internet and email. i was wondering 1. can you set up and use the phone without owning a computer 2. can you get a printed instruction book 3.can you set up a reject list to reject certain callers 4. can you make your phone number not show when calling

1. yes a computer is not required to set up any blackberry.
2. yes its included in the box but i doubt you'll need it the set up phase of the phone has some instruction.
3. yes you can go into the phone menu>in call settings>restrict my identity
