How can I make my erotica stories more realistic?

I love reading good erotica.

Add some of the stuff that seems less perfect. Perhaps when that couple are falling into the bath together, taking off their clothes gets tangled... but they laugh about it together.

If it's a longer story, don't give them a happy ending. Have someone die, have them break-up or be pulled apart by fate.
