Why do people choose Verizon despite the cost?

I know of very few people that have Verizon. I work in a Mall and their store is always packed! I don't like them at all. I have their other services in my house and I am just not happy! I am stuck though because no one else covers my block. and don't get started on Directv! They suck as bad as Verizon!

Reliable service and Verizon will unlock their global phones. I've had all 4 major carriers and Verizon was hands-down the best coverage.
