My sister watch tv 10 to 12 hrs a day.plz tell me how to stope her!?

she probably must be bored and doesnt have other forms of entertainment.

First of all tell your parents and tell them to place strict restrictions on how much time she watches TV

tell her to read some books like''DIary of a wimpy kid'' or ''Nancy Drew'' or something..

encourage her to go for extra-curicular activities like football,dance,singing,art or whatever that interests her

maybe you both could spend sister-sister time by going to the mall or the park.Once she sees how interesting the outside world is she will find TV quite boring!

I used to watch a lot of tv too. You can't force her to go out of the house, or be like "hey you're wasting your time" or whatever. She's not going to take it well and she'll stay at home.

Don't tell her directly to stop watching tv, just be like "hey, can you hang out with me today?" or we need some brother/sister or sister/sister time i miss you" or "I need help doing blabla or buying a gift for mom/friend, come help me pick it out" Try something different everyday and get her out of the house as much as you can :)

Are you older or younger than her? If you're older, you can be in charge and take control of the situation and turn the T.V. off

or

if you're younger, explain to your parents that she's harming herself and that she's wasting her time doing stuff that isn't productive and tell them that it's bothering you as her brother

why stop her? its her life let her do what she wants with it hell a couple days out of the week i play the comp 10-20 hrs a day lol

pretty common addiction. get her into something like a hobby or passion. art-painting music-songwriting. or maybe sports. something to make her feel like there's no point watching tv when she could do something more effective and fun. gudluck.

There must be a reason, find why she wants to hide inside all day, wasting her life and try to help her solve it.

Unless she is American, I hear that is normal for them.

Make her engaged on some other works she is interested.
