Warum ist Herr Köhler damals als Bundespräsident zurückgetreten?

Der Grund dafür, muß doch gravierend gewesen sein, daß er mit "sofortiger Wirkung " zurückgetreten ist. Weiß das jemand? Immerhin, wurde er doch zweimal gewählt.
