Which character name is better?

Girl- brave,quiet, tough, sensitive,impationt, caring, smart, protective, and she can be a smart alec, she also has leader sense to her

She has long wavy dark brown hair with pale skin. Her eyes are blue and she has full lips.

The names i was choosing from are Arianna(are-ee-ah-na) and Evalina(EEv-ah-lee-na)

There wont be any nicknames between the two names

    Arianna. Usually I love the strange, unique names, but Evalina reminds me of something...though I can't put my finger on what (Ballerina...?). Arianna sounds younger and stronger.

    Arianna, always liked the name and it sounds better to me than Evalina.

    Wow. Well truthfully I hate them both. With any piece of literature you should always go simple with the main character's name. This emphasized the plot and is easier for the reader. Trendy names can also "date" your work, and sound less professional.

    With that said, Evalina would have to be the most viable option, and I urge that you call her Eve or Eva from time to time

    Evalina to me sounds a little too girly for that description...
