its about a detective that was framed for a crime that he did not do, 10 years later he was proven innocent, got out of jail and got a huge settlement and was put back on the force. i also remeber wis wife devorced him, so he was harrassing his ex's husband by just stopping him for random reasons and stuff, any help would be great, thank you!

al pacino was the guy look under his fims it might be called the force i forgot name but actor was al pacino if you go to imdb put in al pacino his resume will show you happy new year i think his wife was michelle pieffer mickey
