I am thinking being convert to Muslim?

You are still too young to be independent financially So it is better you make a secret about your thinking being convert to Muslim You must wait until you are independent in financing your daily cost of living if you afraid that your parents will have an objection of your plan to convert Really Islam is opened for all races,tribes and skin colors Really I do agree with you that nothing in heaven nor on earth that deserves worship except Allah swt the One True Great Creator. Really Islam,Christianity and Judaism have the similar Allah with the same beliefs (Tawheed) that there is only one God

Romuldo, it is best not to ask advice on here. As you can see, there is too much hate on this site (and especially in this section) because everyone hates the next person who doesn't believe the same stuff they do.

However I know a young woman (also around 18-20 years old) who also converted to Islam. She attended the local mosque and took classes to understand the Quran + the basics of Islam. Sadly, her family rejected her, but she moved on and now lives with one of the ladies she met at the mosque.

One of the tests in this world is seeing if you prioritize your worldly desires e.g. material things, conformity etc.,before your faith. I know that I don't really have a right to say this because I DO tend to care about what others think of me, but you seem a lot more steadfast in your faith...if you truly believe Islam is the right path for you, go ahead. You are almost an adult and just because your parents brought you up Christian doesn't mean you are deemed Christian for the rest of your life and for your children, grandchildren etc. Do you have any Muslim friends? If your family does not accept you then you will always be welcome at a mosque....I'm sorry I did not really help, but (Inshallah) you will find the right path

I'd suggest you convert (proper term revert since everyone is born in submission) to Islam as soon as you are ready, and then introduce Islam to your family little by little. I am sure they will accept you and your new decision, insha'allah.

I doubt that your Christian family will object to you converting to Islam but make sure that's what you want to do because leaving Islam may require your head.
