What are some good "i miss you" or love songs?.. Military relationship?

For a little bit of insight, I am currently dating a deployed Airman, and it's been almost half a year since I have last saw him. I would love to have some more songs to listen to to relate to my situation that I am in, and I also want to make him a cd to give to him. The song doesn't necessarily have to be about the military itself, but if that's in there, that would be an added bonus. So I am looking for either a song about missing the love of your life or just a really good love song. As a note, I prefer country or rock, I don't care too much for pop or rap, but anything will do. Please help me out here
